Natural Science Illustration
Teen and Adult Classes – Spring & Summer 2026
This spring and summer I’ll be offering the following Natural Science Illustration classes
(9 meetings per session) in my studio, Sierra Nature Prints, Scotts Valley.
Teen Spring classes:
- Natural Science Illustration (Teens ages 13-19) – Wednesdays 6:00-8:00 April 15 to June 10 for a total of 9 classes ($250)
- Natural Science Illustration (Teens ages 13-19) Thursdays 6:00-8:00 – April 16 to June 11 for a total of 9 classes ($250)
Teen Summer classes:
- Natural Science Illustration (Teens ages 13-19) Wednesdays 6:00-8:00 – June 17 to August 12 for a total of 9 classes ($250)
- Natural Science Illustration (Teens ages 13-19) Thursdays 6:00-8:00 – June 18 to August 13 for a total of 9 classes ($250)
Adult Spring class:
- Natural Science Illustration – Tuesdays 6:00-8:00 – April 14 to June 9 for a total of 9 classes ($250)
Adult Summer class:
- Natural Science Illustration – Tuesdays 6:00-8:00 – June 16 to August 11 for a total of 9 classes ($250)
Classes will explore the wonders of nature through applied art. We will draw plants, insects, Arachnids, mammals, reptiles & amphibians, seashells, bones, feathers, fur, fungi, flowers and occasional fun fantasy topics (dragons. Cryptids, etc.) using a variety of media (watercolor, pen & ink, colored pencil, graphite, acrylic, and scratchboard) enhanced with various techniques (layout, mixing, shading, and blending). Occasional classes will focus on our cooperative posters.
